Job Overview
Job Purpose
- Delivering a best-in-class client experience through seamless execution of onboarding, implementation, service coordination, and credit management within the Global Network Banking (GNB) team.
- Acting as a central point of contact for clients and internal partners, ensuring operational efficiency and effective relationship support.
- Managing complex processes and developing strong, professional client relationships to support GNB's international franchise.

- Leveraging Citi's unparalleled network spanning over 90 countries, GNB provides a single, integrated platform for clients to manage their global banking needs.
- Our role is to deliver the full breadth of Citi's solutions—from cash management, trade finance, and FX management to strategic advisory and credit—enabling our clients to navigate the complexities of international markets, optimize their treasury and supply chain operations, manage risks, and achieve their global growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Relationship & Origination Support
- Maintain professional relationships with client representatives.
- Understand client drivers and support Subsidiary Account Managers (SAMs), Regional Account Managers (RAMs), and Parent Account Managers (PAMs), as applicable, in origination activities.
- Identify and originate low-complexity opportunities.
- Actively contribute to business campaigns, including account planning, wallet sizing, and corridor or product initiatives.
2. Credit Management
- Manage credit requests in close coordination with various internal teams.
- Monitor credit lines and escalate exceptions.
3. Onboarding & Implementation
- Own the end-to-end client onboarding experience, from initiating CRM requests to post-implementation follow-up.
- Understands and can support with Client, Credit and Legal documentation
4. Service Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managing and resolving client escalations.
- Facilitate day-to-day operational flows and track client feedback.
5. KYC Ownership
- Act as the designated KYC (Know Your Customer) owner for a portfolio of clients.
- Take responsibility for completing and maintaining accurate client profiles.
Development Value
- Development of commercial and relationship management skills across the full Citi product range (Cash Management, Trade, FX, and Credit) for multinational corporate clients.
- Deepening of knowledge in Services Solutions and credit management processes within a global network.
- Broadening of coordination skills by acting as a central liaison between clients, coverage teams (PAMs, RAMs, SAMs), and product partners.
- Pathway to further career progression within Global Network Banking or Corporate Banking franchises.
Knowledge / Experience
- 5+ years of experience in client management or a related role within the financial services industry.
- Sound Banking and Services product knowledge and understanding of operational processes and KYC/AML regulatory requirements.
- Relevant experience in managing credit requests, monitoring credit lines, and coordinating with internal credit teams.
- Proven track record of resolving client issues, managing escalations, and improving operational processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Demonstrated collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including coverage, product, and risk teams.
- Fluent in English. Mastering Dutch language is a plus

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to delivering a high level of client service.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-starter whilst at the same time a team player
- High level of flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving capability in navigating complex processes. Independently exercises judgment.
This Role is a “Controlled Function” Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015
