Job Purpose/Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Services, Markets & Client Data organization within the Chief Data Office as a Master and Reference Data (MRD) Lead.

Team Overview:

The CDO partners with SM&C businesses, Operations & Technology, as well as Global Functions including Finance, Risk and Compliance continuously striving to improve, monitor, measure, and control data quality.

This team's remit includes delivering project execution, business analysis, and strategic planning services leading to improved controls and efficiencies in infrastructure and operational processes.

The SVP role will interface with all the above areas to define and execute a strategy, roadmap and book of work to improve the quality of SM&C MRD through governance, organization, process, technology and data changes to enable the improvement of business performance and achievement of regulatory mandates.

JobDescription:

  • Develop and implement a robust ownership and governance framework for MRD oversight, specifically within the Party/Entity domain, including the application of Party/Entity data in regulatory capital and liquidity processes including impact on applicable regulatory reports
  • Chair the Regulatory Segment BAU Governance forum, covering procedures and SME engagement on Basel Counterparty Classifications
  • Own the BAU monitoring of certain Basel Counterparty Classification controls, including data quality/remediation activities
  • Lead efforts to remediate applications, ensuring they source MRD from authorised sources (Systems of Record/Authorised Redistributors)
  • Navigate the complex organizational matrix establishing links with senior leaders across key businesses, regions and support functions in order to achieve SM&C transformation objectives
  • Execute on project plans in collaboration with varied stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Technology, Finance, Risk, Front Office, Compliance, Legal, etc.)
  • Communicate clear progress of deliverables and associated risks and issues and assist with resolution
  • Manage ad-hoc requests, upcoming projects, status preparation and communications for deliverables

Required Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in data sourcing, with a focus on MRD, preferably in the financial services industry, with strong domain knowledge of Markets, Risk, Finance and Compliance consumption of MRD
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiar with Capital, Liquidity, and Regulatory Reporting Counterparty Classifications, experienced coordinating with experts to adhere to Interpretive Manuals, Procedures and Policies
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex transformation initiatives
  • TechnicalExpertise: Strong understanding of MRD Governance, Ownership and Concepts
  • Influence: Able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levels; Effectively lead change in an organization with Citigroup's size, scale and complexity
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaboration: Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizations; and demonstrates effective work relationships with business and global function colleagues Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changes in priorities
  • Ownership: Ability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of assigned deliverables while managing competing priorities

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$141,440.00 - $212,160.00
