Job Overview

Role Summary

We are seeking talented Java Developers to design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems. Successful candidates will be instrumental in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance microservices-based solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Common Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

  • Apply TDD and test-first development practices across all development stages.

  • Implement data access layers using Hibernate and JPA and manage caching using Redis or other caching frameworks.

  • Ensure high quality through effective code reviews, static code analysis, and performance optimization.

  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities Specific to Experience Levels :

  • Develop and maintain backend systems using Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud technologies under guidance.

  • Participate in the design and implementation of microservices-based solutions.

  • Assist in the integration and optimization of Oracle and MongoDB in high-performance environments.

Experience

3-4 years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java.

Spring Ecosystem

Knowledge and experience in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

Microservices Architecture

Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture.

Data Access & Databases

Proficient in Hibernate, JPA, relational (Oracle), and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.

Caching (Redis)

Exposure to Redis or equivalent for caching and performance optimization.

Testing Strategies

Proven experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)and Shift-Left testing strategies.

Test Automation Tools/Frameworks

Hands-on experience with Junit, Mockito, REST Assured, Cucumber, or Selenium.

Application Performance

Understanding of code quality and performance optimization during development.

Problem-Solving

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to complex development tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of API Gateways, Service Discovery, and Distributed Tracing (e.g., Spring Cloud Gateway, Eureka, Zipkin).

  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

  • Experience with code quality tools (e.g., SonarQube,CheckStyle).

  • Understanding of security best practices for backend development (OAuth2, JWT, Spring Security).

Soft Skils:

Collaboration

Proven team collaboration skills.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Good communication and basic stakeholder interaction.

Technical Depth & Business Acumen

Ability to balance technical depth with immediate project priorities.

Code Quality

Passion for high-quality, clean, and maintainable code.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
