The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst -AI is an intermediate level position.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and advancing our core lending and credit platforms, including the Global Lending Services (GLS) and Credit Platform (CP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of financial domain expertise, particularly in lending and risk assessment, coupled with a robust technical background in modern front-end and back-end technologies.

You will be instrumental in driving our technical evolution, including the migration to Angular 19, and will leverage your skills as an AI Generalist to innovate and embed intelligence into our systems. Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Development: Design, build, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust web applications using Angular, Spring Boot, and Java.
• Domain-Specific Implementation: Develop and enhance features across our Global Lending Services (GLS) and Credit Platform (CP), with a deep understanding of the end-to-end risk rating workflow.
• Front-End Evolution: Create modern, responsive user interfaces with Angular 14 and take a leading role in the strategic migration to Angular 19, ensuring best practices and high performance.
• Back-End Architecture: Support a resilient microservices architecture using Spring Boot and Java 17.
• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain both RESTful and SOAP-based APIs to facilitate seamless data integration between various internal and external systems.
• Database Management: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL and PL/SQL queries and stored procedures to manage and interact with our databases.
• AI Integration & Prompt Engineering: Apply AI and Machine Learning principles to solve complex business problems. Utilize advanced prompt engineering techniques with tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, automate processes, and enhance code quality.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Work collaboratively within an Agile team, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications:

• At least 6.5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
• Lending Domain Expertise:
  • Demonstrable experience and strong understanding of lending processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of credit platforms (CP) and global lending services (GLS).
• Front-End Development:
  • Significant experience with Angular (experience with version 14 is a must).
• Back-End Development:
  • Understanding of Java 17 and the Spring Boot framework.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture principles and patterns.
• API Development:
  • Skilled in developing and consuming REST based web services.
• Database Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• AI Generalist & Prompt Engineering Skills:
  • Foundational knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their practical applications.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Prompt Engineering using generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot or other AI-driven development assistants to improve productivity and code quality.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Experience in a regulated financial services environment.
• Proactive involvement in a technology migration project (e.g., framework or language upgrades).
