Job Overview
This Business Associate position is within the Marketing Franchise Management, USCC Business Execution team specifically within the MRM Platform, Invoice Governance and Invoice Processing Team. This position will be accountable for managing Invoice Management related activities for USCC and Client. Requires a clear understanding of how programs are managed from a Budget, Expense Management and Reporting perspective.
The Business Associate will also be responsible for coordinating and managing activities such as the tracking of business financials, producing financial reports and other administrative needs as necessary. They will manage strategic projects as well as address updates and enhancements on the Marketing Resource Management Platform.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as Invoice Processing Lead for USCC and other businesses
• Drive advancement of business financial management goals
• Develop and maintain communication standards and procedures; serve as subject matter expert on platform and invoice governance processes
• Develop monthly communications and reports to monitor and measure impact of financial/accrual processes
• Coordinates with multiple internal cross functional teams to ensure the correct accounting treatments are associated to each invoice.
• Ensures stakeholders understand the invoice process.
• Provides regular training and support on all invoice processing related queries.
• Manage all requirements, testing and change management support on technology releases related to accounting as needed.
• Ensure all stakeholders are identified, define scope and lead reengineering activities to streamline invoice processes.
• Escalates issues and risks to management when appropriate
• Performs multiple control functions to ensure Citi's books and reports are reflected correctly.
• Complete compliance related activities and reporting
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
• 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated working knowledge of financial services industry
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
