Job Overview
Citi is looking for a Data Analytics Senior Lead Analyst to join a high-impact team at the forefront of data and technology innovation across the bank. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and strategic voice, translating complex data into clear, decisive recommendations that shape business direction and technical strategy. You will lead across both people and programs, influencing senior stakeholders and driving outcomes that matter at scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic data analysis across high-visibility, business-critical initiatives, surfacing insights and translating complex findings into clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
- Apply the latest trends in data science, data mining, and big data to shape how the team and broader business address next-generation challenges.
- Design and deliver compelling data visualizations and analytical outputs that communicate complex analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Own program management responsibilities across critical data and technology projects, ensuring delivery quality, timeline adherence, and stakeholder alignment throughout.
- Influence and guide senior internal and external stakeholders through sound, evidence-based recommendations that directly impact business outcomes.
- Inform and implement technical strategies for the data function, contributing to directional decisions that shape the team's capabilities and roadmap.
- Manage team resources effectively, allocating work across the team to maximize impact and support individual development.
- Assess risk thoughtfully in business decisions, ensuring data practices align with regulatory requirements, firm policy, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10 or more years of experience working across data teams, with a track record of delivering high-impact analytical work in complex environments.
- Deep knowledge of modern data technologies and solutions, with the ability to evaluate and apply them to solve real business problems.
- Proficiency in statistical modeling tools and techniques, used to generate actionable, data-driven insights.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams, including resource planning and day-to-day allocation across projects.
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously, navigating competing priorities across high-stakes data and technology projects.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Independent, analytical thinker who approaches ambiguous problems with rigor, creativity, and sound judgement.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in a quantitative, analytical, or technology-related field.
- Experience contributing to IT project leadership, including understanding of client business functions and technology delivery principles.
- Familiarity with governance and compliance frameworks within large, regulated financial services organizations.

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
