Job Overview

The IT Planning Business Lead Analyst is a member of the Technology Investment Planning team, which is responsible for driving a consistent and evolving investment planning process across businesses, functions, and Technology. This role serves as a subject matter expert on the Investments@Citi platform, acting as a key point of coordination between stakeholders and the Investments@Citi team to ensure requirements, processes, and enhancements are effectively managed and communicated. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical capability, stakeholder engagement skills, and a detail-oriented approach to support the integrity and continuous improvement of the investment planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the subject matter expert on Investments@Citi, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the investment planning process.
  • Coordinate and support the preparation and submission of Investments@Citi requirements and tickets.  Responsible for tracking, testing, and post-production check-out activities, working closely with Test Managers and Business Analysts to resolve defects efficiently.
  • Create and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials aligned to Investments@Citi enhancements, supporting the broader Tech Investment user base with clarity and consistency.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with key stakeholders across the investment planning process and the Investments@Citi teams to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Contribute to and create internal communications, and prepare high-quality reports, metrics, and presentations for decision-makers.
  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of how the team's work integrates with broader business objectives to inform priorities and recommendations.
  • Persuade and influence colleagues through strong communication and diplomacy skills, supporting alignment across functions and seniority levels.
  • Provide evaluative judgment and subject matter expertise to colleagues, drawing on analysis of factual information in complex and unique situations.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in a related technology role, with subject matter expertise in at least one area of technology planning.
  • Knowledge of the technology investment planning process and the ability to navigate its requirements across a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Experience with UAT procedures and testing methodologies including regression, sanity, and functional testing, with the ability to apply the right approach based on release needs.
  • Proficient in test management tools such as Zephyr for creating and executing test cases, tracking defects, and maintaining test documentation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured outputs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, working effectively both as part of a small team and independently.
  • Data-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a geographically diverse, multi-team environment.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
