Job Overview
This exciting opportunity is within the Digital Lending team, a key part of the Digital and Customer Experience (DCX) organization in US Consumer Cards. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Digital Product Manager (Digital PM Lead Analyst) to drive the evolution of our digital personal lending products. This role offers the chance to significantly impact our business by shaping innovative solutions that enhance customer experience and achieve strategic objectives.
The Digital PM Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasionally external partners. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver against ambitious business objectives.
- Provide platform, product, and customer experience leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative financial platform products.
- Responsible for the overall vision, technical capabilities and roadmap of the digital personal lending product platform.
- Engage with business partners to shape business and product requirements into digital personal lending platform requirements.
- Own and maintain the digital personal lending product roadmap, and clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities and desired outcomes throughout the company.
- Drive product development for new initiatives.
- Make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market and customer experience.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 6-10 years of relevant experience in digital product management, preferably within financial services or digital lending.
- Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with digital lending products, processes, and relevant market dynamics.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with modern technology stacks and product development methodologies and ability to communicate effectively with technical teams.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, customer feedback, and business metrics to inform product decisions.
- Leadership & Influence: Results-driven and passionate about designing best-in-class digital experiences with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex product concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering). Master's degree preferred.
