This is a strong opportunity for an experienced credit professional to deepen institutional credit expertise within Commercial Lending Management and grow toward senior credit leadership at a global financial institution.
Responsibilities

- Prepare, review, and manage Credit Approval Memoranda, ensuring each submission meets quality, completeness, and policy standards.
- Conduct financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, stress testing, risk ratings, and industry assessments to support sound credit decisions.
- Produce and maintain annual and quarterly credit reviews for assigned portfolio accounts, ensuring timely and accurate coverage.
- Monitor covenant compliance, credit exposure, and early warning indicators to proactively identify and escalate emerging portfolio risks.
- Partner with Relationship Managers, Independent Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit teams to support new transactions, renewals, amendments, and ad-hoc credit requests.
- Apply global credit risk standards within the context of local market conditions and regulatory requirements, contributing to Commercial Lending Management's overall risk discipline.
- Provide technical guidance and analytical support to junior team members, contributing to a high-performing underwriting environment.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Five to eight years of experience in credit underwriting, credit risk, or corporate and commercial banking, with demonstrated ability to assess complex credit transactions.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with regional and global teams and stakeholders.
- Solid foundation in financial analysis, including the ability to evaluate financial statements, build cash flow projections, and apply credit assessment methodologies.
- Capacity to assess industry dynamics, borrower risk profiles, and transaction structures across a range of commercial banking sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
What We Offer
At Citi, you will work within the Commercial Lending Management team, a high-performing function where credit expertise, analytical rigor, and professional development are central to how we operate. This role offers meaningful exposure to institutional credit at a regional and global scale, within a collaborative environment focused on delivering strong outcomes for clients and the business.
- Hybrid working model with three days in the office and two days working remotely each week.
- Regional and global exposure through collaboration with Citi teams and clients across markets.
- A clear path toward senior credit leadership roles within Commercial Lending Management and the broader Citi network.
- Access to learning and development resources to strengthen technical credit and financial skills.
- A performance-driven environment where your analytical work directly influences credit decisions and client outcomes.
- Wellbeing and work-life balance support as part of Citi's broader employee value proposition.
