Job Overview

The Data Governance Foundation Analyst 2 is a developing professional role.  Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating governance processes and data. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.  Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.  Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided.

Responsibilities:

• Interprets data and makes recommendations. 
• Researches and interprets factual information. 
• Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. 
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including the day-to-day execution activities and meetings
• Identifies policy gaps and formulates, facilitates and reviews policies, standards and procedures with program leads and managers
• Analyzes, interprets and synthesizes information to develop content and design materials for Town Halls, Staff meetings, and other presentations 
• Researches and communicates project or program status, including any potential risks, issues or dependencies that need escalation or change to project or program leads
• Liaise with other Citi risk organizations to determine and maintain appropriate alignment
• Develops new data collection and evaluation approaches, including formatting of design, compiling data, and its relevancy and metrics
• Conducts analysis, makes recommendations, and completes tasks that contribute to the implementation of assigned data governance projects such as establishing and/or integrating the data governance and/or Data Risk and Controls Policies, standards and procedures including industry best practices with Data Governance leads and managers
• Identify and analyze options for data concern remediation, and where required, implement compensating measures

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated influencing, facilitation and partnering skills
• Ability to collaborate by building partnerships and work with others to meet shared objectives
• Analytical, flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal skills 
• Communicates effectively
• Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Educación:

• Licenciatura/Título universitario o experiencia equivalente en Matemáticas, Matemáticas  Aplicadas, Actuaria, Ingeniería en computación o similar.

Perfil:

1 - 3 años de experiencia. Con fuerte experiencia en SQL/SAS, y conocimiento de la información y negocio de la banca.

Excelentes conocimientos prácticos en técnicas cuantitativas y analíticas, incluyendo análisis de informes, reglas de asociación, árboles de decisión, análisis de cronogramas y planes de tareas, y técnicas de visualización.

Capacidad para trabajar de forma independiente, con un sólido seguimiento, un enfoque flexible y resiliencia ante los contratiempos.

Capacidad demostrada para trabajar de forma interdisciplinaria dentro de una organización para generar apoyo y aceptación entre una amplia gama de partes interesadas y lograr los objetivos.

Conocimiento práctico de técnicas de análisis centradas en el cliente.

Habilidades avanzadas de presentaciones y comunicación.

Inglés Medio-Avanzado (Deseable/No Indispensable

Actividades.

•Desarrollo y seguimiento  de la ejecución de  proceso.

•Revisión de la documentación y controles de  procesos.

•Seguimiento a la calidad de la información que en este momento tienen los datos.

•Nuevos requerimientos para el funcionamiento de los productos  y catálogos del proceso.

•Reuniones con la áreas del banco, en donde se  requiere la información y/o data.

•Análisis de comportamiento de los  clientes, producto, transacciones y su iteración con los otros  productos bancarios y/o servicio del banco.
