Job Overview

Citi is launching a strategic Coding Workshop initiative aimed at identifying and nurturing top-tier AI engineering talent. The primary purpose of this role is to engage with and contribute to this innovative program, which is designed to evaluate and showcase participants' technical acumen, adaptability in new environments, and creative problem-solving skills. This initiative seeks to establish Citi as a leading employer in the AI space, positioning the firm at the forefront of AI innovation and directly addressing critical talent acquisition objectives for high-potential engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to projects utilizing core technologies, applying foundational knowledge in frontend, backend, and database systems.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and unfamiliar environments quickly.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.
• Work collaboratively within an engineering team to develop innovative solutions.
• Solve complex technical problems and contribute to the continuous improvement of systems.
• Innovate and contribute fresh perspectives to ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Be mentored by experienced engineers, gaining valuable guidance and support to grow professionally and succeed in your role.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions.

Technical Skills (Required):

• Frontend: HTML, CSS, React.js with React Responsive and Material UI Components
• Backend: Python
• Database: MongoDB
• Version Control: Git, GitHub

Technical Skills (Optional/Desirable):

• Infrastructure: Terraform
• Deployment Mode: Shell Scripts
• Deployment Target: AWS Serverless (e.g., S3, CloudFront, Lambda, DocumentDB)
