We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as IT Sourcing Lead Analyst (Internal Job Title: SC Sourcing Lead analyst C-13) based in Tanil Chennai

The SC Sourcing Lead analyst C-13 is a senior level position responsible for leading procurement activities such as stakeholder and supplier management, negotiation, productivity, financial modelling, legal language drafting, etc. for a specific category or categories.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Operate with a limited level of direct supervision while being able to maintain effective communication up through senior management and manage escalations.

• Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy in their day-to-day tasks.

• Oversee procurement and supply base strategy, follow and implement standards, policies, targets, and category strategies as well as coordinate the procurement process for the various products and services within scope.

• Lead and/or participate in global category and senior leadership forums with a cross functional category focus on Storage, Datacenter, EUS, Network and IT Professional Services

• .Create and fine tune materials for executive review, ie. GDRF decks, project summaries, briefing books, etc.

• Develop and/or implement market analyses/benchmarking processes and strategic supplier management programs, perform financial modeling and lead development and execution of negotiation strategies for high-value and complex multi-year deals​.

• Meet audit requirements ensuring adherence to Citi processes, guidelines and proceduresto mitigate risk and ensure control standards are met.

• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients and assets.

• Lead and enable the development, management, and analysis of eRFXs aligned to the Category Strategy.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience

• Experience in sourcing or procurement in a large, multi-national organization

• Experience in leading strategic sourcing programs

• Experience in complex deal structuring, negotiations, and contracting

• Advanced computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and eProcurement tools (e.g Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFx)

• Demonstrated strategic sourcing/procurement, stakeholder management, relationship management, and influencing skills

Advanced Analytical Skills

• Complex data analysis and modeling

• Advanced cost-benefit analysis

• Strategic sourcing and supplier evaluation

Leadership and Management Skills:

• Project and program management

• Ability to manage multiple critical projects simultaneously

• Change management

Strategic Thinking:

• Strategic alignment with business goals

• Future forward mindset, proactive to anticipate to future risks

Expert Negotiation Skills:

• Contract negotiation and drafting

• Conflict resolution and problem-solving

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of procurement software

• Advanced Excel skills

• Executive-level communication and presentation

• Cross-functional collaboration and influence

• Advanced stakeholder management – confidence to challenge and influence

Financial Expertise:

• Advanced financial analysis

• Total cost of ownership analysis

• Financial risk management

Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of procurement best practices

• Development and enforcement of compliance policies

• Ethical and sustainable procurement practices

• Creative solutions for complex procurement challenges
