Job Overview

Program Management Lead - Process Taxonomy Governance is a key role to support the Process Taxonomy Owner in the execution of the design, assessment, and communication of the enterprise-wide Process Taxonomy, ensuring adherence to Central Control MCA and Process Management related Policy, Standards, and Process Taxonomy Principles. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and diplomacy skills to effectively negotiate with Business and Function stakeholders, guide and influence decisions, and drive consensus.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, assessment, and communication of the enterprise-wide Process Taxonomy, ensuring adherence to Central Control and Process Management Policy, Standards, and Principles.
  • Support and maintain the governance framework on product process life cycle
  • Maintain and implement Process Taxonomy Operating Models, including associated principles, work procedures, and controls
  • Design, execution of process taxonomy owned controls. Produce control execution procedure documentation, negotiate the design, and control outcome with Control Design Assessment team, quality assurance, and monitoring team.
  • Facilitates the execution of Taxonomy Design Forum with Business and Functions, negotiate the design issues, providing recommendations and paths for disposition. Seek for non objection approval or sign off from Business and Function Process Lead group on Taxonomy related proposal as needed.
  • Serves as the crucial point of contact for senior stakeholders on communications and deliverables related to Process Taxonomy Change Request Assessments.
  • Ability to communicate progress, status and highlight key risks and issues at various levels of the organisation and in a prompt basis
  • Supports the planning, direction, and coordination of day-to-day program or portfolio activities.
  • Support simplification and efficiency of the Process Taxonomy Management workflow, including provide and implement change requirements for tooling automation and related testing.
  • Support the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to Business and Function stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis. 
  • Maintains appropriate staffing requirements to meet operational needs.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. 

Recommended Qualifications:

  • 5-8+ years of experience Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail 
  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to see the "big picture" while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Prior experience as a process engineer and/or familiarity with process design principles is a plus.
  • Broad experience working across multiple banking sectors is an asset

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
