Our Programs

INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS

  • Summer Analyst
  • Summer Associate
  • Off-cycle Internships

Available for students in their 2nd year of study. The internship length can vary across different locations from 10 weeks to 11 months. A paid internship consists of exposing you to a mixture of training, social events and professional experiences. At the end of the internship, successful participants may be offered a Full-Time Analyst role, starting after graduation.

FULL-TIME ANALYST PROGRAM

Available for students in their last year of study. A 2-year rotational program includes a combination of in-depth training, mentorship opportunities, and interaction with clients and senior management.

FULL-TIME ASSOCIATE PROGRAM

For students in their last year of Master’s, MSBA, JD or PhD Program. It’s a perfect launch into a successful career with real-world experience and senior executive exposure.

APPRENTICESHIP

Open to those who have not graduated from university. Apprenticeships offer an opportunity for candidates to ‘earn while they learn’ and are designed to provide an alternative route into a career in financial services. The programs vary in length and structure depending on location and training modules followed.

EARLY ID LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Available to second year students in college/university. A 5-week prestigious virtual internship focused on identifying, mentoring, and hiring diverse talent for our Summer Internship Programs across the firm.

Technology and Business Enablement

Our technologists support and enable the success of our businesses and facilitate peak operational functionality at Citi by utilizing a broad range of technologies, from Mainframes to DLT’s and AI.

Business Enablement makes everything work on time and on target, in a world that demands lightning-fast transaction speeds, pinpoints execution accuracy and provides full visibility. It ensures global transactions flow smoothly around the clock.

Banking

Our Banking franchise is organized around three lines of business: Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking. The unified Banking & International organization oversees the local delivery of the full firm to clients in each of the 95 markets where Citi has an on-the-ground presence. Treasury and Trade Solutions provides integrated cash management and trade finance services to multinational corporations, financial institutions and public sector organizations across the globe.

Securities Services supports the world’s leading asset managers, asset owners, and financial institutions by providing a full suite of services to facilitate the trading and management of financial assets for investors and institutions.

Markets

From trading floors in nearly 80 countries, Markets works around the clock to enrich the relationships, products, liquidity and technology that define our market-making presence for clients in 160 countries and territories. The majority of our team members work in five product areas or in our Quantitative Analysis group that spans all five products:

Wealth

Wealth includes Private Bank, Wealth at Work and Citigold and provides financial services to a range of client segments including affluent, high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients through banking, lending, mortgages, investment, custody and trust product offerings in 20 countries, including the U.S., Mexico and four wealth management centers: Singapore, Hong Kong, the UAE and London.

US Personal Banking

U.S. Personal Banking (USPB) includes Branded Cards and Retail Services, which have proprietary card portfolios and co-branded card portfolios within Branded Cards, and co-brand and private label relationships within Retail Services. USPB also includes Retail Banking, which provides traditional banking services to retail and small business customers.

Enterprise support functions engage in activities that support safety and soundness across Citi. These functions provide advisory services and/or design, implement, maintain and oversee Company-wide programs that support Citi in maintaining an effective control environment.
