This role will be responsible for driving the adoption of key reference data across Citi in full partnership with the Enterprise CDO and the Federated CDOs.  The role will also work with Technology and Operations developing reference data platforms and processes.

This role will partner closely with the Federated CDO organizations to identify and prioritize Reference Data requirements and then lead programs to meet those requirements.  The scope will be focused on Agreements and Contracts data, but also include other key related domains, e.g., Calendar, Business Hierarchy.



Responsibilities:

  • Implement the Reference Data Management adoption strategy and framework for the federated functions and lines of business for specific domains

  • Define Target States and Roadmaps for Reference and Master Data capabilities across functions.

  • Program manage the delivery of Reference and Master Data capabilities.

  • Close collaboration with data governance and data stewards for adoption of policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.

  • Identify and expedite resolution of issues through root cause analysis to tactical and strategic remediation

  • Engage, influence and collaborate with business stakeholders for prioritization of the adoption roadmap

  • Develop and build strong working partnerships across functions, businesses and technology to align implementation and operational strategies

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Master Data Management, Reference Data, data analytics, process engineering
  • Experience with Agreements and Contracts data, e.g., ISDA, Netting agreements, Loan contracts, Master services agreements.
  • Proven experience in implementing complex data management solutions from requirements through design and implementation including negotiating solutions with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience with change management, SDLC, business process engineering
  • Financial service acumen or experience to lead large cross functional initiatives
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to accurately determine length and difficulty of tasks and projects
  • Strategic thinker; must be able to look towards the broadest possible view of an issue or challenge; can easily pose future scenarios; can think globally; and can discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to bring clarity to challenging problems and to help others engage in and embrace a solution.
  • Able to leverage strong business acumen to effectively interact with senior leaders and a broad variety of stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changes in priorities.
  • 10+ years of experience, including 3+ years' managerial experience


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
