Job Overview
The Opportunity
Are you a passionate storyteller with a knack for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with a global audience? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as the Real Estate Services Communications Engagement Lead.
This is more than just a communications role. It’s a chance to be the voice of our global Real Estate Services (RES) organization, shaping how we communicate our strategy, celebrate our successes, and engage our employees. You’ll be a strategic partner to our senior leaders, helping them to connect with their teams and inspire them to achieve our ambitious goals.
The Role
As our Communications Engagement Lead, you will be the architect of our internal communications strategy. You’ll have the creative freedom to design and deliver high-impact communications that tell the story of RES and its value to the wider organization.
You will be responsible for:
- Crafting a Compelling Narrative: You will develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that brings the RES story to life. You’ll transform complex business concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content for a variety of channels.
- Leading Our Global Voice: You will own and manage our global RES newsletter, creating a platform to showcase our achievements, share best practices, and celebrate our people. You will also manage our editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent and coordinated approach to our communications.
- Partnering with Leaders: You will work closely with our leaders in RES to develop and deliver high-impact communications. You’ll provide counsel on messaging, tone, and delivery, helping them to connect with and inspire the teams.
- Engaging Our People: You will create and deliver communications that connect our employees to our strategy, culture, and priorities. You’ll use your creativity to find new and innovative ways to engage our global workforce, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
- Measuring Our Success: You will track and measure the effectiveness of our communications, using data-driven insights to refine our strategy and demonstrate our impact.
- Managing Communications Operations: You will be responsible for managing the in-take communications process and calendar, as well as maintaining a comms repository for tracking, audit, and governance purposes.
- Supporting Ad Hoc Projects: You will provide support for various ad hoc projects, including managing content on SharePoint and Hub sites, and performing light graphics work.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a strategic thinker and a creative storyteller with a passion for employee engagement. You’ll have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a corporate or executive communications role, preferably in a large, global organization.
- A proven track record of developing and delivering successful internal communications programs.
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex information into compelling narratives.
- Experience advising senior executives on a wide range of communications challenges.
- A global mindset and an understanding of the nuances of communicating across cultures.
- A collaborative work style and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A passion for innovation and a willingness to try new things.
- Basic skills in working with graphics (e.g., sizing/resizing images).
Why Join Us?
This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on a global organization. You’ll have the autonomy to shape our communications strategy and the support of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. You’ll also have the chance to work with some of the most talented and passionate people in the industry.
If you’re ready to take your career to the next level and make a lasting contribution to our success, we want to hear from you.
