The Full Stack Engineer(Java)-Data Modeling:

• Responsible for the design & architecture, strategy, re-engineering and execution of the Data Governance, Data Quality and Data Concern Remediation Management program, to effectively be able to analyze and track the data issue across enterprise and ever growing amounts of complex  structured data in order to answer important business questions regarding data quality and Data Concerns, will be responsible for design, managing the development and architecture of a portfolio of solutions, centralized data services and common technology frameworks.

• Solid understanding and proven experience of systems, business, data, and technical architecture disciplines, including exposure to end to end distributed application development and management using Microservices based approach using JEE technologies like Springboot, User Interface development (Angular/React), ExtJS, Node JS, Data Engineering concepts such as ETL (TALEND), Workflow Management (JBPM),  Big Data solutions (Java spark), data/information modeling, and high-availability/high-performance systems design, real-time streaming solutions using event-driven architecture using technologies like Kafka, caching frameworks for better performing using Redis caching, Java application performance tuning using JProfiler. Strong knowledge and exposure on middleware server like WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat etc.

• End to end working knowledge of Application development including JEE Technologies, Angular, ExtJS, Microservices, Cloud adoption. Experience in managing the team of full stack developers and Data Engineering and micro batch application development. Develop design documents and architecturally significant components based on user needs with improved performance and stability using Spring/Spring boot, Microservices Architecture, Spark with Java, Spring batch, JPA, Hibernate, MyBatis, MongoDB, Document management (using Documentum), Cloud Storage like S3,  workflow tool, oAuth2 and DSSO to create high performing, reliable distributed web and standalone batch applications and Implementing AI based data similarity analysis to perform duplicate checks etc.

• Conduct periodic code reviews and security audits to identify areas of improvement and adherence to best practices and coding standards. Develop and enhance system in line with approved design with improved software security and quality. Optimize existing systems, refine and tune integrations between applications to reduce operating costs and improved performance. Implement automated unit test framework(Selenium), Service code unit testing using Junit/Mokito and conduct application stress testing using tools like JMeter

• Adoptive exposure as per technology trends for application development like containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift (PasS) and maximizing technology reuse within Citi through leveraging existing services, frameworks and components and development of new reusable services, frameworks and components where appropriate.

• Initial point of contact for architecture and technology-related matters initiated within the portfolio (e.g. POCs, systemic production issues, assistance with architecture tools, requests for assistance from other technology organizations, inquiries concerning standards, guidelines, or best practices, etc.) and demonstrating application functionalities to users/clients. Align required capabilities across distinct audiences of user populations

• Establish an all-encompassing domain-wide Data Model anchored to Enterprise data standards, serving as a foundation for all data processing, entitlement based control, and consumption needs with experience in tools like Erwin, Magic Draw and Visio. Strong understanding and exposure of relational database, Performance tuning of complex SQLs and Strong programming knowledge in PLSQL. 

• Ascertain required platform & tool capabilities which operate over the common data language and enhance the current infrastructure dramatically to enable faster analytics, reduce manual processes and exercise stronger control. A broad understanding of the relational data solutions, including business and regulatory drivers, methodologies, processes, products, etc.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

• Oversees management of people, budget and planning and includes duties of interviewing and hiring

Skills Required:

• 6+ years of experience in Architecture, Design and Development of Full stack application development using Spring/Spring boot, Angular, ExtJS, NodeJS, Workflow tool JBPM, Camunda, ORM Framework like JPA/Hibernate, MyBatis, MongoDB, Webservices, Caching Framework like Redis,  API based architecture and Document Management (Documentum), Application Security Framework OAuth2, DSSO, Unit testing framework Junit/Mokito 

• 6+ years of experience in Application Development and management using various Data Engineering and Software Engineering tools and technologies like TALEND, AbInitio

• 6+ Year of Strong experience in infrastructure design and application environment setup based on requirement. 

• 6+ years of experience in designing and developing Data Pipelines for Data Ingestion using Apache Spark using Java and Steaming framework like Kafka and Micro batch application using Spring batch

• 10+ Year of experience application performance tuning, memory leakage using tools JVM heap analyzer, JProfiler, conducting stress/performance testing using JMeter, 

• 6+ years of experience in Relational database with strong understanding and experience on modeling, Complex SQLs, performance tuning, PLSQL stored procedures and bigdata solutions

• 8+ years of applications development experience in Monitoring, Building Tools, Version Control, Unit Test, TDD and Change Management to support DevOps and CI/CD framework (Jenkin, Harness), Docker, Kubernetes and Containerization Platform (OpenShift) and experience in scheduling tools Autosys.

• 8+ Years of experience in SDLC Project Management with Agile(Scrum, Kanban) with tools like JIRA, Confluence and Waterfall development 

• 5+ years of experience in data visualization tools like Tableau

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
