What the Job is & What We're Looking for:

We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Settlements Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the settlements activity for multiple legal entities of Citi and managing the relationship and bookings with the various depositories who clear these types of stocks. This role will work hand in hand with multiple other departments including Front Office/Middle Office Groups, and other Settlement Teams across the various regions.

This role is for our Conversions Settlement team, with a specific focus on ADR conversions for our clients and the various desks we support. We work in all markets and hand hold settlements in all regions.

Key Skills

- Understanding of Settlements for Equity trading across Domestic and Global markets
-candidate to be flexible
- Corporate actions as applicable
- Reconciliation to be performed daily, and exceptions researched and escalated accordingly for resolution
- Ensure service level agreement (SLA) and deadlines are met

- Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies, identify issues where trade settlement is non-straight-through processing and correct root cause
- Assist with providing informal guidance or on-the-job training to new members as required
- Prepare periodic reporting if requested
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct in business practices, and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in the Operations or related field
- Knowledge of domestic and international markets, with prior experience of EEA markets, emerging markets, Asia Pacific, and North America being ideal but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues and suggest solutions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and juggling competing priorities
- Experience in using different trading and risk management systems
- Understanding of regulatory rules and requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with ADR Stocks
- Knowledge of financial instruments and markets
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements
- Experience with reconciliation tools and systems

$62,620.00 - $87,380.00
