The successful candidate will be reporting to the APAC Head of ETD/ OTC Trade Management

The candidate’s primary key responsibility would be OTC Cleared functions supporting CCPs eg JSCC, LCH, ICE, CME and EUREX. 

Given that this is the first touch area for all clients and house trades within ETD/OTC Operations, it is crucial that the candidate is highly focused on accuracy, timely risk management as well as diligent follow-up on root cause where failure in the trade flow arises.

There is an expectation that the successful candidate will be driven to learn quickly and become proficient in multiple market procedures in a short space of time. The individual should also demonstrate curiosity and willingness to challenge current processes and suggest changes and improvements to team management to help us constantly improve and evolve.

Having knowledge on secondary key Responsibilities (ETD Trade Management) would be added advantage.

Primary Key Responsibilities (OTC Cleared):

• Monitor rejections/uncleared/ exception trades on clearing system
• Perform trade compression/ netting on CCP
• Process backload on CCP
• Processing Porting on CCP
• Follow-up and escalation of IT outages to minimize client impact and repeat issues
• Participation in UAT and system rollout as required
• Management of client query
• Ability to liaise with global Front Office, Client executives, Client Services
• Support Follow-the-Sun model working closely with EMEA and NAM regions
• Supporting CCPs eg JSCC, LCH, ICE, CME and EUREX

Secondary Key Responsibilities (ETD Trade Management):

• Matching and allocation across APAC ETD markets
• Closely monitor and escalate to regional management any trading errors, missing allocations, unaccepted trades between Citi and third-party clearing brokers
• Management of T+1 exceptions including suspense and client query management
• Follow-up and escalation of IT outages to minimize client impact and repeat issues
• Participation in UAT and system rollout as required

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge and experience of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) 
• Minimum 3 – 5 years experiences in Operations 
• Good knowledge of key industry futures systems, e.g. Exchange GUI, Clearing system, GMI is a plus 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Strong team player who works well in a global and regional team environment 
• Ability to influence change and implement process improvements is essential 
• Innovative in devising support solutions and improving processes 
• High-level of client service to both internal and external clients with utmost professionalism at all times 

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
