Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer or Senior Software Engineer (C13) to join our dynamic team with, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technology projects.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure applications using cutting edge technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of Client lifecycle management, KYC lifecycle, Workflow (Business Process Management BPMN, Case management CMN) and Rules (Decision model DMN, Business Rules engine BRE) practices, low code platforms contributing significantly to our core platforms and services.

Experience:

• Minimum of 13+ years of progressive experience in Development and leading large sized or multiple medium sized development teams
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, Develop, Automate, Test, Maintain, deploy highly effective, manageable, monitorable, configurable client lifecycle management workflows/Case focusing on KYC.
• Experience working with COTS (Commercial off the shelf) SAAS systems.
• Extensive architectural design, implementation, and evolution of workflow and rules solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Perform mandated code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
• Integrate workflow with Citi’s Internal systems using the tool’s array of capabilities.
• Embrace AI for Dev team and Operation efficiencies.
• Extensive experience in building scalable, distributed, highly available systems that will handle millions of transactions.
• Ability to find the cost effective yet scalable solutions for the firm.
• Proficiency with unit tests, automation tests for development.
• Meticulous in delivering testable, maintainable, scalable, configurable code

Required Tech Qualifications:

• Experience in Fenergo and additional extensive experience in least 2 of these workflow engines: Pega, IBM BAW, Unqork, Outsystems .
• Extensive experience with multiple DMN /BRE tools like Drools, IBM BAM, IBM ODM in configuring, managing, exposing, versioning rules and decisions
• Extensive experience integrating the workflow solution with Internal Citi systems using various protocols the workflow tool offers.
• Extensive Experience with life cycle management and troubleshooting of journeys/workflows and their instances in live Production systems
• Extensive Experience working with Oauth2, JWT, and HashiCorp Vault, Citi’s COIN for advanced authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Extensive Experience in designing data models and integration with multiple modern databases.
• Experience integrating with data analytics, monitoring, visualization tools.
• Experience integrating and incorporating various AI technologies like co-pilot, Renovate, Delphyne and other agentic AI capabilities to measure, find efficiency in workflows and Operation work-load reduction.
