Job Overview

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Banker to join our Corporate Bank as a Regional Account Manager (RAM) covering key APAC corporate relationships. This is a strategic client-facing leadership role responsible for deepening relationships with some of the region’s largest and most sophisticated multinational and regional corporate clients.

The successful candidate will serve as the trusted advisor and primary relationship lead, partnering with senior executives, CFOs, Treasurers, and decision-makers to deliver Citi’s full suite of banking, capital markets, treasury, trade, and risk management solutions across Asia Pacific.

This role offers significant exposure to regional C-suite clients, a broad product platform, and the opportunity to drive complex cross-border transactions while working within one of the world's leading institutional banking franchises.

Key Responsibilities

Client Coverage & Relationship Management

• Own and lead a portfolio of strategic MNC clients in APAC, acting as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
• Develop and execute comprehensive client coverage plans that strengthen wallet share and drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives, CFOs and Treasurers.
• Proactively identify and align with client priorities and originate opportunities across the APAC region and across all Citi products and solutions.

Revenue Growth & Business Development

• Drive new business origination through coordinated delivery of Citi’s banking, markets, treasury, trade, and capital markets capabilities.
• Lead strategic conversations around balance sheet optimization, liquidity, working capital, capital raising and risk management.
• Partner with product specialists to identify and execute financing opportunities, treasury transformations, and structured solutions.
• Deliver against revenue, wallet share, and return-on-capital objectives.

Transaction Execution & Strategic Advisory

• Originate, structure, and coordinate execution of complex financing and strategic transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide clients with tailored solutions across:
  • Corporate Lending
  • Treasury & Cash Management
  • Trade & Working Capital Finance
  • Foreign Exchange & Rates Solutions
  • Debt Capital Markets
  • Structured Finance
  • Liquidity and Risk Management Solutions
• Act as a strategic advisor on industry trends, market developments, and capital allocation strategies.

Risk & Governance

• Maintain strong credit discipline and portfolio oversight in partnership with Risk, Credit, and Capital Management teams.
• Ensure all client solutions meet Citi’s risk, compliance, regulatory, and return requirements.
• Champion a strong risk and control culture while protecting Citi’s reputation and franchise.

Leadership & Talent Development

• Mentor junior bankers and contribute to the development of future coverage talent.
• Foster collaboration across product, risk, and regional teams within a complex matrix environment.
• Serve as a role model for inclusive leadership and client excellence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required Experience

• 15+ years of experience in Corporate Banking, Coverage Banking, Global Banking, Relationship Management, or Institutional Banking.
• Proven track record managing large multinational corporations and regional corporate relationships across APAC.
• Demonstrated success originating and executing complex financing and banking solutions.
• Strong understanding of corporate banking products, credit fundamentals, and risk management.
• Experience working across multiple product partners including Treasury & Trade Solutions, Markets, Investment Banking, Capital Markets, and Risk.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
