Job Overview
Citi is looking for a Senior Designer, Print & Digital to join its US In-House Creative Agency in Schaumburg, IL a dynamic creative team at the heart of one of the world's leading financial institutions. In this role, you will concept, craft, and deliver high-impact design solutions across print and digital channels, partnering closely with marketing and business teams to bring Citi's brand to life at every customer touchpoint. This is an opportunity to take creative ownership, influence brand standards, and shape the visual identity of a globally recognized organization.
Responsibilities
- Uphold and evolve the brand’s visual identity across all print and digital channels, with a focus on performance-driven marketing and customer engagement.
- Conceptualize and produce high-quality creative assets across print (direct mail, brochures, signage, collateral) and digital, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and craft from concept through final delivery.
- Partner with marketing, strategy, production, and external vendors to align creative execution with business objectives, timelines, and channel-specific requirements.
- Maintain and evolve brand standards, ensuring cohesive application across all customer touchpoints, including both physical and digital experiences.
- Present and articulate creative concepts, design rationale, and production considerations to stakeholders, incorporating feedback into effective design solutions.
- Stay current on design trends, tools, and emerging technologies across both print production and digital platforms to continuously elevate creative output.
- Review final assets for accuracy and quality, ensuring adherence to brand standards, print specifications, and best digital practices, including ADA/WCAG accessibility compliance.
- Oversee file organization, version control, and production workflows to ensure efficiency, scalability, and seamless handoff between teams and vendors.
- Championing a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous learning, encouraging experimentation and collaboration.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5–8 years of graphic design experience, gained within an in-house agency or similarly fast-paced creative environment.
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, libraries, and collaborative design workflows.
- Demonstrable expertise in layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy across both print and digital formats.
- Thorough knowledge of print production, including template development, press-ready file preparation, and printing specifications.
- Practical application of ADA/WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, particularly in email design.
- Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities without compromising quality.
- A portfolio demonstrating meticulous attention to detail, visual polish, and consistency across digital and direct mail formats.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI tools into a design workflow to improve speed, quality, or creative exploration.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries, with experience contributing to or maintaining shared design frameworks.
- Background in developing or managing brand standards across large, multi-channel organizations.

$87,360.00 - $131,040.00
