Job Overview
About the Role
This position is the finance portfolio AVP on the Citi Retail Services Macy’s credit card program. The role
will have significant interaction with Citi Retail Services Partner Finance and FP&A teams driving overall profitability, expense management key reporting of the program. The
role is also responsible for generating key analytics and reporting for the portfolio fulfilling both internal management and partner needs.
*This role must report on site to the office in Schaumburg three times per week. This role cannot be done remotely or from other Citi location.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with the Macy’s program staff to develop projections for internal and external
relevant program drivers and analysis
• Partner with FP&A on program P&L analysis and profit share payment forecasting, including both
current year and long term/contract projections
• Work closely with internal business partners to develop key forecast and variance analysis, including regular updates to ensure accurate projections and key themes and data to be presented to the management team on performance
• Analyze profitability and sales performance, influencing what items are of interest/concern
• Support investment campaigns and strategic initiatives through requested
financial analysis, providing guidance and insight to business and partner teams
• Interact with broader finance and cross functional teams
• Support preparation of financial packages for business reviews, investment/marketing
campaign reporting, and other financial reports, as needed
• Participate in month-end close process to ensure accuracy of partner related payments,
accruals, and reserves (including reward program reserves); ensure financials align with
contract terms
Qualifications:
• B.S. in Finance or Accounting, Business, Mathematics.
•3-5 years of financial experience in credit card industry and/or financial
services.
• Fundamentals of forecasting and planning
•Creating financial presentations and reporting
•Communication/presentation skills; ability to articulate key themes and focus areas
•Inquisitive and curious on how things operate
•Moderate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience using a multi-dimensional financial database such as
Essbase or Hyperion required
•Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented, intense

$87,360.00 - $131,040.00
