Job Overview

The Enterprise Data Office is looking for a full-time Senior Vice President (SVP) to join its Wholesale Loans Data Management and Remediation team, under the collateral pillar. This provides a unique opportunity, to have an integrated “end-to-end” view, through data, of the credit underwriting, monitoring and reporting of wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.

The team is responsible for driving a data architecture to deliver front to back design, identify gaps, and implement a robust governance framework with a specific focus on loans collateral. A key focus is on Data Quality including ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness across data flows and alignment with Citi’s overall data strategy.

The function is responsible for extensive partnering across all relevant businesses within wholesale loans and independent risk to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance framework. 

The Wholesale Loans Collateral Senior Lead Analyst (Business Analyst Senior Lead Analyst - C14) is recognized subject matter expert for an area within the wholesale loans collateral data domain. Requires commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Loans Collateral Data Subject Matter Expert, understands how data elements are captured, how they relate to each other and the different stakeholders involved. Uses this understanding to drive change to improve the data quality.
• Work closely with business, product development and technology partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving data quality strategies
• Participate in, and lead data remediation efforts through a mix of tactical and strategic solution design, which include influencing booking model changes to drive consistency.
• Drive changes in downstream consumption plans with back-office technology partners to ensure completeness and consistency throughout data flows
• Contribute to senior management level presentations to communicate strategy, programs and month over month progress
• Review data analysis, identify patterns and translate that into actions that improve the data quality of loans collateral data.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in any of the following areas data analytics, product development of data capture applications, asset-based lending, commercial real estate, or collateral documentation
• Extensive hands-on experience in data analytics utilizing SQL tools/tableau or experience in secured lending products is required
• Ability to frame business problems in a succinct manner
• Thrives in ambiguous environment
• Proven ability to translate large volumes of data information into insights
• Ability to provide guidance to other team members
• Experience in cross functional projects
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently
• Exceptional level of motivation and diligence coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), as well as strong relationship building and influence skills

Education:

• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$95,040.00 - $316,920.00
