Job Overview
Citi is looking for a LMS Product Manager to define and drive the commercialization strategy for local and offshore liquidity products across a globally connected business. In this senior role, you will shape product direction, partner with banking and sales leadership, and translate market intelligence into commercial outcomes that directly impact portfolio performance. You will sit at the intersection of product strategy, client engagement, and financial delivery within Citi's Treasury and Trade Solutions business.
What the team does
Define and implement the Liquidity products strategy based on market and industry research and trends and client needs, taking into consideration franchise´s balance sheet perspective and global product offering strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team, overseeing resource allocation, day-to-day priorities, and individual development to ensure consistent delivery of business objectives.
- Drive strategic analysis of client behavior and liquidity pools across the market to identify and commercialize new product opportunities.
- Define and maintain the liquidity product strategy and commercialization roadmap, align priorities to business objectives and balance sheet considerations.
- Monitor market, industry, and competitor trends and translate findings into actionable product positioning and segmentation strategies.
- Lead campaigns to commercialize new and existing LMS solutions. Partner with client relationship managers and Sales teams.
- Grow the underlying business drivers – maximizing returns
- Work in collaboration with partners in Client Operations, Client Experience, Implementation, Product and the Client Success team to contribute towards positive Voice of the Client results
- Oversee end-to-end execution of complex deals and structured client solutions, managing pipeline progression in close coordination with the sales team.
- Manage the financial performance of liquidity products, including revenue, expenses, and key business drivers, while identifying gaps and growth opportunities.
- Maintain governance standards across the product portfolio, including controls testing, access reviews, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 10 or more years of experience in a product, commercialization, or business management role within financial services, including direct people management responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance including P&L oversight and revenue management in a large and complex business environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop client-facing strategies based on market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights.
- Ability to establish and maintain senior client relationships across multiple business areas, with a clear focus on client outcomes and deal conversion.
- Analytical and conceptual thinker who can synthesize complex information quickly and translate it into a clear strategic direction.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
- Experience in liquidity management, cash management, or treasury products within a global banking environment.
- Experience in scenario development and forecasting as well as experience serving clients
- Familiarity with data analytics as applied to product strategy, client segmentation, or portfolio performance management.
- Experience acting as a change agent within a large organization, with a track record of gaining buy-in and implementing new ways of working.
