The Technology Development Lead is a strategic professional who stays ahead of the curve, closely following the latest trends in their field. They have proven experience and subject matter expertise within the Risk andControl domains. This individual contributor willpossess excellent communication skills, essential for negotiating internally, often at senior levels. They are adept at guiding, influencing, and persuading others, including colleagues across different departments.

The Technology Development Leadwill be responsible for achieving significant business results and providing authoritative advice regarding business operations. This includes a degree of responsibility over technical strategy.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management: Lead the entire lifecycle of technology solutions, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with Operational Risk functions (1st and 2nd line oversight) and regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Solution Delivery: Work closely with engineering teams, architects, and business analysts across multiple teams and regions to ensure technology solutions meet business goals and adhere to firm standards and commitments.

  • Technical Expertise and Software Development:Demonstrate deep technical knowledge and expertise in software development, including programming languages, frameworks, and best practices.

  • Implementation Oversight and Alignment: Monitor development progress to ensure implementation decisions align with company commitments.

  • Culture of Technical Excellence: Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

  • Stakeholder Management: Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, communicating effectively with both internal and potentially external stakeholders.

  • Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources effectively, acting as a mentor and advisor to junior analysts.

  • Strategic Decision-Making: Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions within IT Project Leadership, directly impacting business outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years of experience in driving the delivery of large-scale enterprise technology solutionsleveraging technologies like Java J2EE / Spring / Oracle, Webservices / REST APIs and messaging in a Containerized Kubernetes environment.Experience in CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins etc. including automated testing tools like Selenium.

  • Risk and Controls Domain Expertise: Proven experience and subject matter expertise within the GRC domain.

  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and strategic objectives.

  • Industry Knowledge and Best Practices: Working knowledge of industry practices and standards related to GRC and technology solutions.

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong client relationships.

  • Drive and Leadership Potential: Self-motivated individual with a strong drive to succeed and an eagerness to learn, grow, and progress towards a leadership role within the company.

  • Adaptability and Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to change and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required. A Master's degree is a plus.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$176,720.00 - $265,080.00
