Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Developer and MIS Expert who combines deep technical proficiency with strong project management discipline. This senior role is responsible for leading the entire lifecycle of our business intelligence and analytics projects, from conception and planning through to execution and delivery. The ideal candidate will not only serve as the subject matter expert for Dashboard development but will also orchestrate data-centric projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

This position involves detailed project planning, resource scheduling, creating comprehensive documentation, and managing timelines to ensure the successful delivery of sophisticated dashboards, automated reports, and advanced analytical solutions. The successful candidate will be adept at translating business needs into actionable project plans, managing stakeholder expectations, and leading project sprints to deliver high-impact results. This role is critical for driving our data strategy forward by expertly managing the projects that turn raw data into clear, actionable insights for the organization.

Successful candidates will collaborate with colleagues across different locations and time zones, demonstrating exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to operate effectively with all levels of management.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Design and manage the production of periodic Dashboards, ad-hoc management reports and Audit Reports.

• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources (Structure & unstructured), reconcile conflicts and ensure data integrity is maintained throughout the production process.

• Manage the expectations of management and articulate clearly and concisely in answering any queries they may have.

• Understand business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry and suggest areas of improvement.

• Design and manage the production of periodic and ad-hoc management reports.

• Strong analytical and management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements

• Background in data warehouse design and data modeling techniques (identifying relationships)

• Ability to work closely with IT regarding further automation of reports and process enhancement.

• The candidate should be sound in problem solving and be creative to new process innovations.

• Ability to work with strict attention to details and be able to meet deadlines.

• Built Partnerships with stakeholders across the Services franchise

• An ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment.

• Excellent verbal, comprehension and written communication skills (English). Should be comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

• Capable of working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment while sensitively managing confidential information

• The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented and will possess strong organizational skills.

• Ensures internal reviews and external examinations are well managed with clearly evidenced controls.

• Build AI Agents to implement process improvement and creating efficiencies.

• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI solutions using LLMs (Claude, Gemini, Copilot, etc.)

• Develop prompt engineering strategies and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Business Intelligence & Visualization: Proven experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.

Programming: Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.

Data Management: Solid understanding of database management principles and experience with data modeling.

ETL Skills: Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing ETL processes.

MS Office: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel including VBA

Project Planning: Good project management skills including Agile and scrum methodologies

Stakeholder Management: Outstanding communication, and influencing skills as the role involves working with various stakeholders in the Services franchise

Desired Skills:

Generative AI: Experience or familiarity with Generative AI concepts and tools.

Citi Stylus: Knowledge of or experience with Citi Stylus.

SharePoint: Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint for site management and collaboration.

Business Experience: Relevant experience in financial services, Investor Services, Custody Services will be preferred.

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
