Job Overview
The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Responsibilities:
- Design & develop solutions using Tableau Dashboards(Web and Mobile) with SQL Server/Oracle/Big Data technologies as a backend technologies
- Provide technical walk-throughs to various stakeholders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc.)
- Be able to work independently as well as within a team
- Experience with all the components of Tableau suite but not limited to Tab, Desktop, Tableau Prep and Tableau Architecture
- Must have strong Experience in Tableau Development in Reports , dashboards and documents
- Should have knowledge and used tableau Rest API
- Added Advantage if have Experience in Mobile configuration.
- Ability to create complex reports requiring multiple parameters, summarizing data with crosstabs, using sections and section underlay for groups, and related report functions
- Works directly with end-users or a projects team to translate business requirements into technical specifications to drive Semantic layer and report
- Develop report prototypes and review and fine tune report deliverables with business users
- Tableau dashboard Performance optimization
- Must have good knowledge of SQL and Stored Procedures
- Must have experience on DevOps
- Should have prior experience of using Pixel Perfect for reports distribution
Knowledge/Experience:
- 8-10+ Years of experience in designing Tableau Business Intelligence Reporting systems
- 8-10+ years of experience in Tableau schema definition, design, implementation and maintenance
- 8-10+ years SQL development experience either SQL Server, DB2, Oracle, Sybase and MySQL.
- Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation (all phases of software development life cycle - SDLC)
- Understanding of financial industry is an asset
- Excellent functional, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
Skills:
- Excellent in Tableau schema definition, design, implementation ,maintenance and Dashboard development
- Very strong SQL skills with Programming skills
- Exposure of DWH reporting tool
- Good understanding of SDLC
- Added Advantage -
- Tableau Mobile Development
- Knowledge of programming languages - JavaScript, html, python, etc.
- Knowledge of implementing chatbots with Tableau/Qlik/Microstrategy
- Integration of Tableau tool with R or Python
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree /B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
