Job Overview

Citi is looking for a Senior Oracle ERP QA Tester to join the Source to Pay technology group within COO Technology, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and stability of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS 12.2.9) on-premises implementations across the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) landscape. In this role, you will lead end-to-end quality assurance activities for complex ERP systems and custom-integrated applications, working closely with technology and business stakeholders to uphold the highest standards of delivery. Your expertise will directly influence the reliability of enterprise-critical financial systems used across Citi's global operations.

 Responsibilities

• Work on end-to-end quality assurance testing for Oracle E-Business Suite implementations and EBS-integrated custom applications across the Procure-to-Pay landscape, ensuring all systems meet defined functional and business requirements.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans for Oracle ERP modules — including Oracle Forms & Reports, XML & BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), and Fast Frame.
• Coordinate and manage testing activities across multiple testers and concurrent workstreams, ensuring test coverage, milestone adherence, and quality metrics are consistently met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with business stakeholders, functional leads, and development teams to analyse requirements and translate them into structured testing strategies aligned with production standards and real-world use cases.
• Identify, document, and triage defects, performing root cause analysis and validating fixes through structured retesting to confirm resolution before production release.
• Define and track quality metrics covering cost, effort, and milestone progress at a project level, providing clear and timely reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Act as a mentor and quality champion for junior team members, fostering a culture of rigorous testing practices and continuous improvement within the QA function.
• Uphold Citi's standards of compliance and risk awareness in all quality activities, ensuring testing processes support regulatory obligations, internal policy adherence, and responsible production rollout.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 8–12 years of experience in quality assurance and functional testing, with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) on-premises environments, particularly within Procure-to-Pay (P2P) or Source-to-Pay functional domains.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience testing across Oracle ERP-specific technologies including Oracle Forms & Reports, XML & BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow, Oracle Application Framework (OAF), and Fast Frame.
• Solid experience conducting QA testing for EBS-integrated custom applications and extensions, with the ability to assess both Oracle seeded and custom solution behaviour against defined acceptance criteria.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for Oracle Applications ERP and how Quality Assurance methodology integrates at each stage, including familiarity with defect tracking systems and change management processes.
• Ability to design and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives in collaboration with technology project managers and business users, driving structured test execution through to production rollout.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to facilitate test strategy discussions, present quality metrics, and engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving, with the ability to prioritize and manage complex testing assignments under tight deadlines in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity and testing frameworks, with the ability to apply sound judgement when leveraging automated outputs to enhance testing accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience working in financial services or similarly regulated industries, with an appreciation for the compliance and control standards that govern enterprise technology delivery.
• Exposure to automated regression testing frameworks within an ERP testing context, with the ability to assess and recommend appropriate tooling for structured test environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.
