Job Overview
The Applications Development - full stack developer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The ideal candidate will have experience building modern, responsive user interfaces and robust backend services while working in an agile, collaborative environment. The role requires strong technical expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, API development, cloud technologies, databases, and DevOps practices to deliver secure, high-performance enterprise applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain end-to-end web applications across frontend and backend systems.
- Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces using Angular following engineering best practices.
- Develop secure and reliable backend services using Java (Spring Boot).
- Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
- Develop and optimize database solutions using relational, NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD processes.
- Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems/issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement, contribute to technical design discussions, documentation, and continuous process improvements.
- Follow agile development methodologies and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Recommended Qualifications:
- 7+ years of relevant hands on experience
- Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
- Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
- Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
