This role involves leading the comprehensive process of understanding, evaluating, and ranking automation requests across various Global Assessment Units (GAUs). The analyst will be the primary liaison between the automation team and key business stakeholders, facilitating robust discussions, gathering critical insights, and translating business needs into a clear, stack-ranked automation roadmap. This highly client-facing position requires exceptional communication, analytical, and negotiation skills to influence prioritization decisions, manage expectations, and report on the strategic alignment and impact of the automation pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Prioritization Leadership: Lead the end-to-end prioritization process for all automation requests, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic objectives and business value.
Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment: Proactively engage and meet with business stakeholders and leaders within each GAU to understand their needs, gather critical input, and facilitate consensus on the relative priority and impact of automation initiatives.
Prioritization Framework Management: Develop, implement, and continuously refine a robust prioritization framework (e.g., scoring models, weighted short-job first - WSJF, impact vs. effort) to objectively stack-rank automation requests.
Business Case Development Support: Collaborate with GAUs to ensure comprehensive business cases are developed for automation requests, clearly outlining expected benefits, ROI, and strategic alignment.
Reporting & Communication: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards on the automation pipeline, prioritization status, and strategic impact for executive leadership and GAU stakeholders.
Roadmap Influence & Management: Translate prioritized requests into actionable automation roadmaps, collaborating with development teams to ensure clarity of scope and delivery timelines.
Conflict Resolution & Negotiation: Facilitate discussions and negotiate prioritization conflicts among competing business units, advocating for decisions that deliver the highest collective business value.
Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve the intake, prioritization, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness to evolving business needs.
Minimum Qualifications:

Importance to the Automation Team: This Automation Prioritization Analyst (C13) role is fundamental to the COO Automation Team's ability to deliver strategic value and maintain alignment with overarching business objectives. By leading a transparent and business-driven prioritization process, this role ensures that automation resources are consistently focused on initiatives that yield the highest impact and return on investment. The analyst's direct engagement with GAUs and ability to translate business needs into a clear, stack-ranked roadmap minimizes resource contention, optimizes delivery schedules, and maximizes the strategic influence of the automation function. This leadership in prioritization, coupled with robust reporting, solidifies the automation team's role as a key strategic partner in driving organizational efficiency and innovation.
