This AVP role in Portfolio Financing and Optimization offers an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the profitability of Citi's Prime Services business within EMEA. The position involves the active management of a financing book, requiring a holistic view across various financial products including Stock Loan, Financial Resource Management, Cash and Synthetic Prime Brokerage, Futures, and Derivatives Clearing. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing the EMEA prime finance platform, enhancing revenues, and driving profitability through strategic data analysis and tool implementation.

Primary Responsibilities of the role

• Manage and optimize a financing book within the Prime Services business, contributing directly to P&L.

• Price financing terms effectively for Hedge Fund clients, ensuring competitive and profitable structures.

• Contribute to the administration and analysis of the Equity Prime Brokerage P&L.

• Implement data-driven solutions and tools to enhance platform efficiency and client profitability.

• Collaborate with global peers to ensure a consistent approach to client profitability across regions.

• Work closely with control functions, including Legal, Compliance, and Risk, to maintain robust governance.

What we need from you

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Prime Brokerage and Listed Derivatives businesses.

• Strong Python programming skills for data analysis and tool implementation.

• Exceptional analytical and numerical competency with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

• Effective interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
