The Reference Data Services Intermediate Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for opening and maintaining product data details across a variety of systems remain up to date.
  • Liaise with other operational teams globally to ensure that a globally consistent model is followed with respect to this critical reference data.
  • Ensure that statutory and regulatory obligations are met when new relationships with clients product/pricing sets are established.
  • Verify all details of the product from a regulatory and control perspective for Institutional Client Accounts
  • Serve as escalation point for issues and complex processing.
  • Involved in key projects for unit
  • Deliver daily project work and escalation management, routine and defined tasks, while developing knowledge of the broader context in which work is being performed
  • Working hours :11:00 AM EST – 7:00 PM EST

Qualifications:

  • Very good English knowledge (written & spoken)
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of Excel spreadsheet as an asset
  • Managing various data remediation work streams Projects Knowledge
  • Able to identify, trouble shoot issues and ultimately escalate
  • Experience of maintaining client static data within a capital markets environment
  • Takes ownership of allocated work and is accountable
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or financial services related qualifications as an asset
