Citi's Investor Services business is one of the world's leading providers of securities services, offering a comprehensive suite of solutions including custody, fund administration, middle office outsourcing, and related services to some of the largest and most sophisticated institutional investors globally. With a presence spanning over 60 markets, Investor Services combines global scale with local expertise to help clients navigate complex regulatory environments, optimize operations, and unlock new opportunities across asset classes and geographies.
The Solution Sales Specialist will play a crucial role in helping to drive new business and revenue opportunities within the Investor Services sales team. Including managing and growing a portfolio of institutional clients — including Top Tier Insurance Companies, Pensions, Asset Managers, and Corporates — across Citi's Investor Services platform. This role focuses on providing essential sales support, analytical, and coordination to facilitate sales origination, client engagement, and operational efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with Client Executives, Product, Technology and Operations teams. It requires strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex, multi-product and cross-regional opportunities. Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of financial services experience, a client-first mindset, organizational skills and the ability to align resources across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Solution Sales Specialists with the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Assist in managing client sales coverage by coordinating client meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting follow-up actions.
- Support the tracking of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management within CRM systems.
- Conduct preliminary research on clients, market trends, and competitive offerings to inform sales strategies.
- Support client prospecting efforts by assisting with lead generation, data compilation, and initial outreach preparation.
- Coordinate internal meetings with Client Executives, Product, Technology and Operations teams to gather necessary information for client engagements.
- Help prepare and distribute internal communications related to client management disciplines, including account planning and call reporting.
- Support the sales team in ensuring consistent and professional delivery of client management tasks.
- Maintain an understanding of Citi's Investor Services platform to effectively support sales activities.
- Contribute to building a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and ethical conduct within the team.
- Adhere to Citi’s Code of Conduct and relevant policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in financial services, insurance, or adjacent industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn CRM systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and support multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn about the Investor Services business.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Innate leadership ability to galvanize resources across units

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$98,960.00 - $148,440.00
