Job Overview
Global Head of Credit Trading Technology - Fixed Income Technology Division
Job Context
The Global Spread Products (GSP) business engages in Sales, Trading, Structuring and Financing across the Credit, Securitized, and Municipal markets. This business is a market-leading franchise, and is committed to maintaining its leadership position by investing in next generation technology platforms that deliver competitive advantage to the business. The business operates globally with major operations across North America, Europe and Asia. This role is in the Technology group that supports this business globally.
Role Summary
The Head of Credit Trading Technology will lead the Front-office Technology team that builds and supports cutting-edge and robust technology solutions focused on the Credit trading division. This technology team builds solutions that allow trading desks to manage portfolios across a broad range of credit products — including Investment Grade, High Yield, Distressed Debt, Credit Default Swaps (CDS), and structured credit instruments — and perform spread analysis, credit risk modelling, and scenario analysis to hedge and risk-manage their positions.
The team, comprising seasoned technologists and business domain experts, works closely with traders, product development, risk managers, research analysts, and senior management to identify market opportunities and deliver solutions using Agile development principles. The primary goal of the team is to deliver solutions that give the business a sustainable competitive advantage. This role reports to the Global Head of Fixed Income Technology.
A primary task is to build on the broader Fixed Income technology strategy and transform our existing application architecture in the Credit Trading space. The candidate will need to build strong relationships with business leaders, industry peers, and the technology teams driving transformation and innovation. This role will ensure that our global organisation can meet the challenges of a rapidly changing financial services landscape, especially within the GSP businesses leading the adoption of AI tooling and modernizing the Risk and Pricing landscape for the traders.
