Job Overview
Citi is looking for a senior product leader to drive the commercialization and expansion of its ACH franchise within the US Domestic Payments business — a top 4 ACH originator in the US market and a recognized industry leader in cash management and treasury solutions. In this role, you will shape product strategy, accelerate go-to-market execution, and lead cross-functional delivery to grow one of Citi's most strategically important payments capabilities. You will sit within the Services organization, working at the intersection of product, technology, operations, and client coverage to deliver measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and refinement of ACH product strategy, including go-to-market approach and delivery model, in close partnership with global and regional product teams.
Drive the end-to-end planning and launch of new ACH capabilities and functionalities, coordinating across technology, operations, implementations, and regional teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery.
Partner with Finance to evaluate product investment decisions and maintain oversight of revenue, expenditure, and benefits realization.
Collaborate with Coverage teams to develop a deep understanding of client needs and translate those insights into actionable product improvements.
Build and execute action plans in response to client feedback, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that strengthen the client experience.
Represent Citi at industry forums, external working groups, and market events, contributing payments thought leadership that advances the firm's position in the US domestic payments landscape.
Shape Citi's external payments narrative by developing informed perspectives on market evolution, regulatory change, and emerging payment technologies, and communicating these to clients, partners, and industry peers.
Monitor competitive dynamics, emerging market trends, and new technologies to inform product positioning and strategic priorities.
Ensure all product documentation and governance processes meet required standards, maintaining rigorous compliance with applicable policies and regulatory obligations.
Required Qualifications & Skills
10 or more years of experience in electronic banking channels, with solid knowledge of corporate banking practices in the cash management space.
Demonstrated ability to manage product delivery across complex, cross-functional environments involving technology, operations, and client-facing teams.
Experience evaluating product investments and working with finance partners to track revenue performance and expenditure.
Ability to translate client and market insights into clear product strategies and prioritized delivery plans.
Skilled at navigating senior stakeholder relationships and influencing decisions across multiple functions and geographies.
Takes full ownership of outcomes — sets direction independently, drives work to completion without close oversight, and holds self accountable for results.
Operates with a strong execution mindset, managing competing priorities effectively and consistently delivering high-quality work to deadline.
Exposure to business analysis, data analysis, and system analysis in a product or banking context.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent university-level qualification.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
Master's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or technology.
Familiarity with ACH payment rails, US domestic payment infrastructure, or broader payments industry dynamics.
Experience representing an organization externally through industry bodies, working groups, or client-facing thought leadership.
Experience working within large, matrixed financial institutions across global and regional product teams.
