We are hiring for a Securities Services Operations role within Citi Japan.
This position supports the settlement, clearing, and investigation of securities transactions in a global financial institution environment

Candidates with experience in financial operations are welcomed; however, we also encourage applications from individuals who are motivated to build expertise in securities operations. Through structured training and on-the-job learning, you will deepen your understanding and gradually take ownership of assigned processes.

For candidates with prior experience, this role also provides opportunities to demonstrate leadership within the team and contribute to process improvements.

本ポジションは、シティグループ日本拠点における証券サービス業務の一員として、証券の清算・決済・調査業務を担う役割です。

金融業務経験をお持ちの方はもちろん、今後専門性を身につけたい方のご応募も歓迎します。研修およびOJTを通じて業務理解を深め、段階的に担当業務のオーナーシップを担っていただきます。

About the Team / 部署紹介

Citi provides custody and securities services to institutional clients globally across more than 100 markets.

In Japan, the Custody Operations team supports both domestic and global clients by delivering:

• Settlement and cash processing
• Asset servicing (dividends, corporate actions, tax-related processing)
• Client servicing and account maintenance

Key Responsibilities / 主な業務内容

• Execute daily settlement and reconciliation tasks accurately and within deadlines
  （日次の決済・照合業務を正確かつ期限内に実行）
• Investigate and resolve transaction issues in coordination with stakeholders
  （取引不整合の調査および関係者との連携対応）
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and regulatory requirements
  （内部統制および規制要件の遵守）
• Support client and internal reporting activities
  （顧客・社内向けレポート作成サポート）
• Take ownership of assigned processes and ensure stable operations
  （担当業務のオーナーシップを持ち安定運用を実現）
• Contribute to process improvements and share ideas to enhance efficiency
  （業務改善・効率化への提案・推進）
• Support junior team members and collaborate effectively across teams (where applicable)
  （必要に応じてチームメンバーの支援・連携）

Qualifications / 応募要件

Basic Requirements

• University degree or equivalent experience
• Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Native-level Japanese and basic English reading comprehension
• 3-12 Job experience

Preferred (not mandatory)

• Experience in financial services operations (banking, securities, etc.)
• Experience in operations, back office, or process-oriented roles (any industry acceptable)
• Basic understanding of financial products or accounting

• Ability to work under time constraints and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication skills and teamwork mindset
• Willingness to learn and develop professional expertise

Education / 学歴

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred but not mandatory.
