Job Overview

The Program Management Governance Business Unit Sr Analyst is responsible for the governance of Citi’s Transformation Program and the related, centralized processes and procedures required to effectively manage the oversight and execution of the Transformation Action Plan. 

The Program Management Governance Business Unit Sr Analyst will be a subject matter expert for closure centralized processes and/or governance around status and tracking progress of consent order related CAPs and Issues across globally. The Sr Analyst will need to effectively partner with stakeholders across the COO and business functions to drive compliance with closure processes, drive towards efficient and sustainable best practices. This role will also involve in the creation, monitoring and automation of various reports and KPIs for senior management.

The work performed by the Sr. Analyst impacts the effectiveness of the Transformation Office, which impacts the overall execution of the Transformation Program.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs Transformation Office check of stakeholder delivered Closure Summary documentation
  • Liaises with transformation program groups, execution teams and Internal audit to ensure clarity regarding documentation requirements
  • Advises stakeholders as governance and/or process subject-matter-expert for closure
  • Manages and maintains recordkeeping documentation to ensure an audit ready environment
  • Prepares metrics, tracks progress, conducts reconciliations and provides status reports
  • Monitors reports to ensure appropriate process steps are followed by stakeholders
  • Drives adherence to closure processes, procedures, methods, and standards
  • Identify opportunity and work on automation of process using AI tools
  • Supports planning and coordination of day-to-day activities
  • Applies best practices for effective communication and problem-solving
  • Understands the bank environment and compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Works with regional and global team to implement the best standards across teams.
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience participating in projects and teams; minimum of 2 years of experience in a banking environment preferred
  • Excellent computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Tableau, MS access
  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to interact effectively
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced work environment
  • Ability to work independently

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
