Job Overview
The Cash & Trade Proc Intmd Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions governance and regulatory controls for trade transactions. The overall objective is to research, conduct analyses, and resolve issues through process improvements and digitization.
Responsibilities:
- Create customized transaction services reports based on data analysis
- Monitor and research errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Resolve transaction services issues and use technical expertise/ judgment to conduct complex analysis
- Anticipate and respond to requests for transaction deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors
- Develop and recommend strategic decisions based off in-depth comprehension of how the Trade operations team interacts with others business unites in accomplishing objectives
- Drive end-to-end process transformation and operational improvement initiatives across Trade Operations
- Identify process inefficiencies through data analysis, stakeholder discussions, and workflow mapping
- Lead automation and digitization projects using AI, intelligent automation, and workflow optimization
- Conduct process mapping (current state vs future state) and recommend scalable redesign solutions
- Track project execution, milestones, and delivery through structure PMO governance
- Collaborative with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Technology, and Risk
- Monitor KPIs such as Turnaround TAT, productivity, capacity utilization, etc.Create elaborate dashboards and presentations for projects and forums
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- MBA/Postgraduate in Business, Strategy, or related field
- 3-6 years of experience in in Banking and Finance
- Experience handling Transformation/Strategy/PMO/Operations Improvement
- Exposure to Process Digitization initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
