Job Overview
The Cash & Trade Proc Supv (C10) is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to apply working knowledge of technical concept to recommend process improvements, manage personnel and complete team deliverables efficiently and manage end-to-end payment processing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Processed high -volumes domestic and cross boarder payments ensuring accuracy and timely execution
- Allocate work and manage daily work flow for small Cash/Trade Operations team engaged in performing entry level, routine clerical or processing tasks
- Responsible for team management for assigned daily routine works
- Process client payments, receivables, trade transactions
- Deliver error free processing and achieve assigned productivity levels
- Follow procedures and controls required for assigned process
- Monitor and report errors to ensure adherence to audit and control policies
- Participate in UAT, implementation, and assist with training new team members including training initiatives as required
- Participate in compliance related activities to minimize losses
- Provide recommendations to increase the efficiency of the daily work of the transaction processing team
- Serve as a subject matter expert for User Acceptance Training (UAT) and training initiatives; train new team members and lower level personnel
- Fulfilling the clients’ necessities while providing an exceptional client experience is the expected behavior from all our employees and it will be measured by specific metrics.
- Train and advise lower level staff through applying in-depth knowledge of team objectives
- Evaluate performance and make recommendations for pay increases, promotions, terminations, hiring, etc.
- Provide evaluative solutions for cash/trade management issues based on analysis of information, precedent, and acquired technical experience
- Maintain a basic comprehension of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others in accomplishing objectives
- Assess and recommend on hiring needs to ensure adequate staffing
- Recommend new work procedures using technical knowledge of strategic concepts
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- Flexible to work in shifts and weekends
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in a related role
- Demonstrated experience with cash management processing and transaction services
- Effective verbal, written, communication and analytical skills
- Effective management, influencing and relationship skills
- Strong verbal & written communication Hebrew/Arabic to Fluency in Hebrew/Arabic is an advantage
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
