Job Overview
Overview: The Technology Delivery Manager is responsible for leading and managing complex, critical, and large technology initiatives. This role involves influencing a team of professionals to align with technology strategy and business objectives, applying a deep understanding of the business impact of technical contributions, and fostering an innovative product mindset. The manager is accountable for delivering technology programs to global business stakeholders and requires excellent communication skills for internal negotiations, often at senior levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with IT and business leaders to deliver business value.
- Manages requirements, roadmap definition, resource planning and financial aspects of projects.
- Project management skills, particularly in leading large cross-functional initiatives.
- Handles internal communications.
- Contributes to strategic decisions, policy formulation, planning, budgeting, and overall end results.
- Uses communication and diplomacy to persuade and influence others.
- Demonstrated ability to unite diverse groups towards common goals.
- Proven people management skills, including motivating large teams.
- Partners with business and product teams to prioritize product features and enhancements based on business objectives, market trends, and customer needs, ensuring product innovation meets strategic and financial objectives.
- Assesses and manages risk, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and fostering ethical behavior.
- Evidence of driving process improvements and productivity initiatives – including but not exclusively relating to AI
Profile:
- Strong business acumen - Financial Services, especially in area of Onboarding and KYC
- 10+ years of experience in technology planning, delivery, and people management.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in budget management, risk and control management, and influencing stakeholders.
- Proven success in delivering tech projects within large, complex technology environments.
- Strong intellectual curiosity, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills.
- Proactive in identifying and developing new opportunities.
- Excellent analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of process management with attention to detail and comprehensiveness.
- Track record as a change agent, embracing innovative ideas.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
