Job Overview

The Ops Sup Sr. Supervisor is an intermediate management level position responsible for providing full leadership and direction to a team of employees in an effort to provide operations support services in coordination with the Operations - Core team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of operations support services in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Oversight of Operational delivery of Tax Operations & Reporting
• Establish effective Governance and ongoing oversight of KPI delivered by FRSS team in Mumbai that deliver US, FATCA & CRS Tax reporting processes
• Responsible for tracking Tax Operations performance and adhere to SLA in terms of accuracy and timelines
• Change Control – Ensure all changes are adequately documented, communicated, training provided to the respective teams and change control is periodically validated for meeting the objective of change
• Responsible for continuous process reviews (and team adherence to process) and improvements in Tax Operations & Reporting, and strengthening control environment
• Work closely with FRSS Tax team and Operations in CSIPL managing relationship through regular engagement
• Liaison with Corporate Tax lead in UK, internal / external auditors for any audits relating to these Operations Functions
• Ensure Compliance with Operational procedures and regulatory controls are adhered to at all times
• Ensure Controls are in place for Tax Operations including appropriate MCA tests in place and results of testing reviewed periodically
• Work closely with other remaining Operations lead in UK and act as back up for residual tasks covering Core Operations when required.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in delivering Tax Operations process involving US & UK Tax Reporting process
• SME in Section 17/18 reporting, US Tax reporting, FATCA & CRS requirements
• Experience in engaging with remote Offshore teams as part of day-to-day Operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proactive leadership and motivational skills
• Proven organization and time management skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
