Job Overview
Citi’s Communications team is looking for a strategic content powerhouse. As our new VP of Content Strategy, you won’t just tell stories—you’ll build them. You will own some of our most visible global content initiatives, driving everything from content development to data-backed performance analysis. This is a role for a strategic project manager and a creative visionary who can unite teams, elevate our brand across all mediums, and deliver breakthrough work that resonates globally.
Reporting to the Content Strategy Director, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Project Managing High-Visibility Initiatives: Lead and manage key content projects from start to finish, including digital campaigns, print collateral, audio content, and event materials.
- Developing and Executing Content Strategy: Create and implement content strategies that support enterprise-wide goals, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative across all platforms.
- Ensuring Global Consistency: Partner with teams across the organization to ensure our messaging, and quality standards are upheld in all markets, elevating the work on a global scale.
- Multi-Medium Content Creation: Develop engaging and innovative content across a wide range of formats, adapting the story to the medium for maximum impact.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize strong analytical skills to monitor and measure content performance, providing regular insights and recommendations to optimize our approach.
- Collaborating and Partnering: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the creative team, to produce integrated and impactful bodies of work.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in content strategy, corporate communications, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates an ability to create compelling narratives for a diverse audience.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of taking high-visibility projects from start to finish.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to measure campaign performance and inform content strategy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and influence partners across a global, matrixed organization.
- A strategic and creative thinker with a passion for elevating work and driving results.
- Integrity, maturity, dependability, and a positive professional attitude.
