Job Overview
The Product Manager for Investor Services in Peru is an intermediate-level role responsible for managing a key portfolio of cross-border and local clients. This position will drive the development and execution of product plans, business strategies and tactics in collaboration with the global and regional Product Management teams. The core objectives are to maintain exceptional client satisfaction, identify and capitalize on new growth opportunities, lead the implementation of new product offerings, and ultimately increase market share and strengthen our competitive position within the Investor Services landscape
Responsibilities:
Client Management
- Serve as the primary product and account manager for a dedicated portfolio of key clients, managing all communications, market updates, and formal market inquiries (RFPs, SLAs, DDQs).
- Own the end-to-end client lifecycle strategy, from onboarding to ongoing engagement, to optimize the client experience and foster long-term partnerships.
- Act as the lead for client problem resolution, ensuring timely and effective solutions that maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
Product Strategy & Development
- Develop and execute strategic product roadmaps, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from enhancement and development to launch and client education.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis, including client research and competitive intelligence, to identify trends, threats, and opportunities that inform product strategy.
- Develop advanced solutions to enhance client experience and address the challenges of implementation.
- Work in close partnership with the sales team to shape and implement powerful client value propositions, defining product positioning, segmentation, pricing, and channel strategies to secure a competitive advantage.
Business & Financial Performance
- Oversee the financial performance of the product, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, by identifying growth opportunities and addressing performance gaps.
- Contribute to achieving business targets for client acquisition, revenue performance, and expense management.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Manage day-to-day product management activities, effectively prioritizing tasks, negotiating with stakeholders, and removing obstacles to achieve business objectives.
- Work closely with Operations and Technology partners on the design and implementation of new products and process improvements.
- Coordinate the allocation of the necessary budget and the planning and prioritization of strategic projects and initiatives.
- Provide informal guidance and on-the-job training to new team members and internal partners to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Qualifications:
Experience & Knowledge
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably within Investor services (Custody Services), product management, or relationship management.
- In-depth knowledge of the securities market, investment processes across asset classes, and the product development lifecycle.
- Experience driving business innovation by leveraging data analytics and management information to achieve results.
- Proficiency in strategic scenario development and financial forecasting.
Skills & Competencies
- Communication: Fully bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a proven ability to interpret complex information and develop effective solutions.
- Client Management: A strong commitment to quality and detailed client attention, with the ability to manage requests end-to-end.
- Digital Product Manager skillset: Proven initiatives and basic knowledge related to technology applicability (including artificial intelligence) on daily activities, increasing efficiency in processes and agile methodology is a plus and will be valued

- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
