We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Fraud Ops Assistant Manager  (Internal Job Title: Fraud Ops Analyst 2 - C10). Role Overview:

Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fund transfer authentication and verification process to ensure all manual fund transfer requests are properly reviewed, authenticated and approved prior to payment release.

The role served as a critical-control point in preventing unauthorized transactions, payment fraud and operational losses..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day MPIP operations and workflow management

  • Ensure payment verification requests are completed accurately and within established timelines.

  • Monitor transaction queues and workload distribution.

  • Act as first level escalation point for operational issues.

  • Ensure review of high risk, complex or escalated payment requests.

  • Ensure callback verification procedures are completed accordingly.

  • Review suspicious payment requests and unusual customer activity.

  • Support fraud investigations and payment hold decisions.

  • Proactively identify process gaps and control weaknesses.

  • Provide guidance, coaching and technical support to team members.

  • Support team member’s development and knowledge sharing

  • Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.

  • Escalate material risks and issues to senior management.

  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in fraud analytics, fraud operations, or financial crime risk within banking or financial services.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage workflows within a high‑risk and fast‑moving fraud environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of banking operations, customer authentication flows, and payment ecosystems.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a high-pressure, fast-evolving fraud landscape.

  • Strong understanding of international payment/fund transfer operations.

  • Knowledge of SWIFT and cross border payment processes.

  • Payment authentication and fraud prevention experience.

  • Investigation and escalation management experience.

  • Strong verbal and language competency skills especially in Mandarin and Cantonese
