Job Overview

Join Citi's Prime Finance division as an Equities Delta One Middle Office Analyst, where you will sit at the centre of a specialist team supporting the Delta One and Synthetic Prime Brokerage Trading and Sales desks. This role delivers end-to-end operational service for clients trading equity derivatives including Portfolio Swaps and Participatory Notes, giving you direct exposure to the full trade lifecycle across one of the most active and growing segments of our business in Asia. You will build deep product knowledge, develop meaningful client relationships, and contribute to the continued expansion of Citi's Prime Brokerage platform.

Responsibilities

• Act as the dedicated operational contact for a portfolio of Prime Brokerage clients, delivering high-quality service and managing the onboarding of new clients to Citi's platform.
• Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle for Equity Swaps and Participatory Notes, covering execution, allocation, settlements, and query resolution including fails management.
• Identify and resolve securities and derivative settlement issues, escalating complex cases to the appropriate teams and collaborating on timely solutions.
• Monitor transaction processing to detect errors early, assess risk exposure, and recommend process improvements to minimise operational risk to the firm.
• Design and analyse moderately complex operational reports to meet management requirements and support control activities across the team.
• Partner directly with Front Office Sales and Trading teams to provide trade support and contribute to growing Citi's client base across the Asia region.
• Ensure all processes and activities adhere to audit standards, control frameworks, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Between one and three years of experience in a Middle Office, Prime Brokerage Operations, or Trade Support function.
• Demonstrated understanding of trade lifecycle processes including trade capture, settlements, reconciliations, and query management.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to risk and control.
• Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with clients and manage key relationships independently.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Cash Equity and Equity Swaps, or related equity derivative products, is highly valued.
• Familiarity with Corporate Actions processing and its impact on the trade lifecycle is a meaningful advantage.
• Experience working within a Prime Brokerage or Delta One environment and an understanding of Synthetic Prime Brokerage structures.
• Competency with macro-enabled tools or reporting automation to support operational efficiency.
