Citibank is a leading Wealth Management financial institution dedicated to serving as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services. We are seeking a highly capable and motivated Assistant Vice President to drive strategic growth and innovation in the rapidly evolving digital wealth landscape. This role is pivotal in creating hyper-personalized client journeys and supporting our digital wealth transformation by leveraging agentic and Gen AI capabilities. It requires a blend of strong execution capabilities, an analytical and growth mindset, and a passion for delivering unparalleled client experiences and exceptional business results.
Responsibilities
Strategic Contribution: Contribute to the strategic definition and achievement of business objectives, supporting revenue and investment asset growth targets within the portfolio.
Strategy Formulation: Support the formulation and evolution of comprehensive business strategies, providing market insights and contributing to the identification of emerging opportunities in digital wealth.
Execution of Strategic Initiatives: Assist in the end-to-end design, planning, and execution of strategic initiatives and client engagement, coordinating activities and collaborating with external partners and internal stakeholders.
Hyper-Personalized Client Experience: Lead the design and implementation of hyper-personalized client journeys, leveraging data and AI to create unique and compelling digital interactions that deepen client relationships and drive engagement.
Gen AI-Driven Digital Transformation: Drive the digital transformation of our wealth management platform by identifying, evaluating, and implementing agentic and Generative AI capabilities to enhance digital wealth services, automate processes, and unlock new sources of client value.
Investment & Digital Wealth Growth: Support the implementation of portfolio management strategies and promotional frameworks to enhance investment penetration and contribute to digital wealth revenue and net new investment asset growth.
Market & Client Proximity: Support efforts to maintain market and client proximity, assisting in the development, launch, and scaling of innovative products and high-impact marketing programs.
Regulatory Compliance & Governance: Adhere to established governance frameworks, collaborating with legal, risk, and compliance teams, to ensure all digital sales processes comply with stringent internal policies and evolving external regulatory standards.
Operational Excellence: Contribute to the optimization of sales, service, and operational functions, supporting a culture of excellence, efficiency, and unwavering compliance with all institutional policies and regulatory mandates.
Qualifications
Experience: 5-8 years of experience in investment product management, digital wealth management, or related financial services roles, with a demonstrable track record of contributing to business growth and digital transformation. Experience with AI-driven projects is highly desirable.
Gen AI & Digital Acumen: Strong understanding of Generative AI and their applications in creating personalized client experiences within financial services. Proactive in identifying opportunities for market expansion and revenue generation through technology.
Collaboration & Influence: Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with an ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders towards shared objectives.
Analytical Prowess: Strong analytical capabilities, adept at distilling complex data into actionable insights and contributing to data-driven proposals, with an ability to adapt to dynamic market landscapes, technological shifts, and regulatory changes.
Client-Centricity: A profound and unwavering commitment to client-centricity, with a proven ability to translate deep, empathetic understanding of client needs and behaviors into hyper-personalized value propositions and superior digital experiences.
Operational & Program Management: A commitment to operational excellence, ensuring attention to detail and supporting strategic initiatives through established agile methodologies and program management practices.
Forward-Thinking & Execution: Demonstrates a forward-thinking approach, contributing to the anticipation of market trends and competitive dynamics, and supporting the execution of strategies with precision.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
