- Build and actively manage a high-quality opportunity pipeline, identifying new revenue pools across existing and prospective clients and driving opportunities through to execution.
- Grow market share across the existing client base while actively identifying and acquiring new clients within the South African market.
- Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses, operating environments, cash flows and foreign exchange exposures in order to provide tailored risk management and transaction banking solutions.

- Foster a collaborative environment through active engagement with internal stakeholders to increase client penetration, enhance dialogue and deliver Citi's full suite of capabilities.
- Lead and facilitate strategic discussions with clients regarding foreign exchange markets, hedging strategies, e-commerce solutions and broader treasury initiatives.
- Represent Corporate Solutions Sales in relevant internal and external forums and collaborate with regional and global partners to bring Citi's broader capabilities to clients.
- Maintain strict adherence to all internal policies, regulatory requirements and control frameworks, including Compliance, Credit, Legal and Risk requirements.
- Work closely with control functions, including Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Audit and Finance, to ensure a robust governance and control environment.
- Build and promote a culture of responsible finance, sound governance, effective supervision, ethical conduct and expense discipline.
- Appropriately assess the risk and reward of transactions and business decisions, demonstrating sound judgement and consideration for Citi's reputation and client interests.
- Act as a role model within the sales team, supporting the development of junior colleagues through coaching, knowledge sharing and disciplined execution, while contributing to the broader development of the franchise.
