Job Overview

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities towards DevOps, vulnerability and threat management, platform safety and soundness.

Responsibilities:

• Perform DevOps engineering activities involving technical stack migration, infrastructure maintenance involving certificate renewals, vulnerability fixes
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD ((Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, LightSpeed Enterprise to automate the software delivery process
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Ansible
• Solve compliance issues identified in software components using enterprise tools like blackduck, snyk
• collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless software delivery and maintain a highly available and scalable infrastructure
• Ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals for platform stability, safety and soundness, identify necessary system enhancements to mitigate EOL (End of Life) EOVS (End of Vendor Support) for software involving third party libraries
• Develop tools for upgrade of underlying applicaton softwares and programming languages to address the introduction of new packages across SDLC's (Software Development Lifecycles)
• Ensure system security and compliance with industry best practices
• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.​

Qualifications:

• Experience in working in agile projects, with good knowledge in DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role
• 3-6 years of strong Programming skills in Java/J2EE ,Python, JavaScript, PL/SQL
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
