Business Analytics Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.

Duties: Conduct complex analysis to identify authentication and fraud detection gaps/issues at the strategy and portfolio levels and recommend path of action. Leverage customer data to build risk segmentation and detection strategies. Derive trends and patterns via seemingly unconnected data sources. Leverage analytical tools and data science techniques to extract information from data. Continuously optimize processes and look for new methods and opportunities to leverage fraud threat intelligence. Manage significant fraud events by helping coordinate information sharing across Global Consumer Bank Fraud prevention. Partner with various cross-functional teams such as Global Fraud Policy, Analytics & Modelling, Security Operations Center to help design intelligence derived strategies to detect fraud. Collaborate with fraud analytics modelling function to optimize detection capabilities leveraging unstructured data sets/variables. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology and Management, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Data Analyst, Fraud Risk Analyst, Business Analyst or related position. Must have experience with: Conducting data mining, data processing and modeling using SAS programming; Identifying authentication and fraud detection gaps/issues and recommend paths of action; Data Analytics tools and techniques to extract information from data; SQL; Database Management; Tableau; Business Intelligence tools; Analyzing fraud patterns libraries in Python.
